Pricing
• Color illustrations range from €500–€900, depending on the number of characters and background complexity.• For Commercial licence / Print rights an additional fee will be appliedPlease contact me by email with project details for an accurate estimate.• For more complex projects (dust jackets, book covers, book illustrations, body pillows, stickers, etc.), email inquiries are required for custom pricing.Please read TOS (Terms of Service) before contacting me
TOS
Before commissioning me, please make sure my art style is a good fit for your project by reviewing my portfolio. I work exclusively in my own style and don’t create artwork in the style of other artists.I love reimagining your characters and my work is centered around emotional connection, storytelling, and dynamic action. While I follow the agreed concept and references, I keep creative freedom in how the final piece is expressed, in line with my artistic aesthetic.
1. Booking & The Waiting List
• The waiting list is free, non-binding, and managed via email.
• You can reserve multiple slots in advance - for example for few illustrations.
• I will give you a rough date when the opening can be expected.
• Specific deadlines can be negotiated.
• I will notify you of the opening slot approximately one month in advance.
• Upon confirmation of your slot, you must provide a detailed brief (story fragments/mood boards/references very much welcomed!).
• Any delays beyond agreed dates will be communicated via email.⸻2. Workflow
• Step 1: Rough Sketch: Based on the briefing, you’ll receive a rough sketch in color.
• Step 2: Final Payment Trigger: The full project fee must be paid upon approval of the rough sketch. Possible Payment Split after negotiating in advance (50% upfront after Step 1 approval, and 50% upon project completion.)
• Step 3: Revisions:
Revision nr.1: Rough Sketch Revision nr.2: Lineart/Flat Color Minor Revision: Final render• Additional Fee: 5% surcharge on the total project price is charged for any revision beyond mentioned ones.
• Timeline: Production time is typically 1 week to 1 month, dependent on complexity and speed of communication.⸻3. Deliverables
• Files Provided: High and Low Resolution .jpg files, OR professionally prepared .pdf files (for covers/print materials).
• Digital License Included: The base price grants a license for online promotion (websites, social media) to use the image as a whole or make minor adjustments (cropping, cropping out background).
• Print Rights: Not included in the base price. Can be purchased separately at a later date if desired for physical product sales.⸻4. Client Responsiveness
If I do not receive a response to emails for more than two weeks:
• The commission may be canceled
• The client may be removed from the waiting list
This helps me manage my schedule fairly for everyone.⸻5. Right to Decline or Cancel
I reserve the right to decline or cancel a commission if:
• I feel uncomfortable with the request
• The subject matter goes beyond my personal boundaries
• The project does not feel like a good fit
• This is done with respect, and no detailed explanation is required.⸻6. Payment & Refunds
• Payment details and methods are confirmed via email before work begins
• Prices are agreed upon in advance
• Refunds are generally not available once work has started, except at my discretion
• If I need to cancel a commission before completion, any payment for unfinished work will be refunded.⸻7. Usage Rights & Copyright
• I retain the copyright to all artwork unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Personal commissions are for personal use only
• For independent authors, you can use the illustration for digital promotion.
• Commercial use must be discussed in advance.
• I may display completed artwork in my portfolio or online unless otherwise requested.⸻8. Editing & Modification
• You may not resell, modify, or remove the signature from the original work.
• You may not mint or sell the artwork as an NFT.
• No AI Modification: Neither party will utilize Generative AI to modify, enhance, or complete the work.
• No AI Training: Artwork will not be used for the training of any AI models.
• Human Work Verification: The Client confirms their book concepts/text are original human creations (not AI-generated). The Artist confirms all illustrations are hand-drawn/human-made.⸻9. Discretion
• Everything discussed in our emails stays private.
• My privacy is essential to my business. If you leak my personal information, it violates our trust and this agreement.
• Let's stay safe!⸻By requesting a commission and/or submitting payment, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Service. These guidelines are in place to ensure a pleasant and respectful experience for everyone involved.
⸻Briefing tips:
To capture your characters' true emotions and personality, I really thrive on context. The more details you share (like story chapters, mood boards, and character references) the better the art will be. I value creative freedom! You are warmly welcome to suggest a specific pose or visual idea if one comes to mind, but please don't worry, you are not expected to provide a detailed pose description or reference image for this. Trust me to find the right angle, and I'll make sure it fits your character perfectly!
